USW holds strike votes in US Steel dispute
The United Steelworkers (USW) labour union is now holding strike authorisation votes across the country in its on-going labour row with US Steel, Kallanish learns from a company spokesman.
The spokesman says the results of the votes should be known by the end of the week, though some local unions have already voted in favour of strike authorisation. Negotiations concurrently have been halted.
