USW, US Steel maintain contract deadlock
The United Steelworkers labour union failed to make progress with US Steel on a new contract over the weekend, Kallanish learns from a union update.
The union accuses US Steel of being less than forthright regarding the financial details of a new contract. USW members at US Steel facilities have been working under the terms of their previous contract since it expired on 1 September.
