USW warns US Steel of thinning patience
The United Steelworkers have issued a warning to US Steel – come to an agreement quickly, or risk a strike, Kallanish learns from a union release.
In an update to its membership dated 18 September, the union says it is no closer to a long-term labour deal with the company. Union members at US Steel facilities have been working under the terms of their previous contract since it expired 1 September.
