Vale inaugurates two crushing stations at Serra Norte
Brazil’s Vale has begun operating two auxiliary crushing plants at the Serra Norte (SN) mine, Kallanish notes.
The equipment was supplied by Finnish company Metso.
The so-called FIT technology reduces delivery and erection time compared to similar crushing and screening equipment. Their capacities range between 200-4,000 tonnes per hour and all can be used in unique applications with multiple equipment configurations and modules, Metso says. The project als…
