Vale to join Spanish greenfield low-emission steelmaking project
Brazilian miner Vale and Spain’s Hydnum Steel have signed a memorandum of understanding on developing low-emissions solutions for steelmaking, Kallanish notes.
The companies will jointly evaluate the possibility of building an iron ore briquette plant within Hydnum Steel's greenfield low-emission steelmaking project in Puertollano, in the Castilla-La Mancha region.
