Valmont to fabricate bridge in Illinois
Valmont Structures has been contracted to replace an existing steel bridge in Whiteside County, Illinois. A cold-bended press-brake U-beam tub girder will be fabricated at the company's facility in Jasper, Tennessee.
Kallanish learns from the Short Span Steel Bridge Alliance (SSSBA) that Valmont's design was selected for this project due to the short lead time, as construction is set to begin by this summer.
