Vedanta incorporates iron and steel unit
Vedanta has incorporated a fully-owned subsidiary under the name of Sesa Iron and Steel with an authorised capital of INR 1 million ($12,000). Its main objective is to carry out the operations of Vedanta’s iron and steel business, the firm says in a bourse filing seen by Kallanish.
It will also undertake growth projects and expansion of operations, Vedanta says.
