Vedanta to increase Goa iron ore output
Vedanta expects to produce an additional 2-3 million tonnes of iron ore at its Goa mine in the fiscal year through March 2017 after receiving an increased mining allocation from the state’s government.
The Indian miner expects to reach its initial annual mining allocation in Goa of 5.5mt, as well as its 2.3mt allocation in Karnataka by the end of January.
