Vedanta launches steel, raw materials businesses strategic review
Vedanta has initiated a strategic review of its steel and steelmaking raw materials businesses. This will evaluate a broad range of options to maximise stakeholder value, including a potential divestment, the Indian group says.
“The Company continues to review its strategic priorities in the normal course of its capital allocation discussions, with the aim to continue to maximize stakeholder value,” the firm says in a note seen by Kallanish.
