Vietnam’s Formosa Ha Tinh clips HRC prices
Formosa Ha Tinh Steel (FHS) has lowered prices for its latest hot rolled coil allocations. Market sources had already told Kallanish last week that they anticipated discounting from the mill because its announced prices for December/January shipment were too high.
After the $20/tonne discount, the mill’s new allocations of non-skin passed SAE 1006 HRC for December/January shipment are at the equivalent of $570-580/t cif Vietnam, depending on booking quantity…
