Vitkovice Steel plans 2018-2020 production investment
Vitkovice Steel plans to invest CZK 710 million ($32.3m) into production in 2018-2020, the company tells Kallanish.
Last year the firm invested CZK 47m into the modernisation of its seldom-used 170,000 tonnes/year heavy sections mill. This resulted in a -17% reduction in natural gas consumption and reduction in CO2 and NOx emissions by -42%, according to the firm’s chief executive, Dmitrij Scuka.
