Voestalpine supplies first CO2-reduced premium steel
Voestalpine’s Steel Division in Linz has started to offer a CO2-reduced edition of all its flat steel products, Kallanish notes.
As a result of an innovative raw materials mix and even more efficient processes, the direct carbon emissions generated during the manufacture of voestalpine’s “greentec” steel products have been reduced by around 10%, the enterprise claims.
