Weaker demand curbs Oman Chromite sales
Weaker global chrome ore demand and steel markets in the first half of 2017 saw Oman Chromite (OC) report a -35% on-year decline in chromite sales in full-year 2017 to 17,166 tonnes.
Metal lump sales comprised 56% of sales and the balance were refractory materials (chips and fines).
