Widgie Nickel updates Widgie 3 mineral resource
Australian miner Widgie Nickel has updated the mineral resource of the Widgie 3 nickel deposit at Widgiemooltha in Western Australia. Its mineral resource estimate (MRE) now stands at 734,000 tonnes at 1.53% nickel for 11,200 nickel tonnes, Kallanish notes.
Widgie Nickel says in a statement that 70% of the MRE is classified as indicated for 6,880t of contained nickel. In 2018 the MRE was classified as inferred only.
