Wire imports duty cut seen harming Turkish producers
The newly-announced import duty reduction on certain steel wire and bars in Turkey will ease imports and negatively affect domestic producers, says Veysel Yayan, general secretary at the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).
