Worldwide oil/gas rig count falls in March

The number of working oil and gas rigs operating worldwide fell both month-on-month and year-on-year in March 2020, according to the Baker Hughes monthly rig count, monitored by Kallanish. Numbers fell both in the North American and the wider international sectors. The number of rigs operating in the US fell by 19 on-month to 772 in March, while those in Canada fell by 116 to 133.
