Worthington reaps fiscal 2016 profit despite volume dip
US steel processor and fabricator Worthington Industries nearly doubled its fiscal 2016 profits despite a 17% drop in overall sales volume, Kallanish learns from the company’s earnings review.
In fiscal 2016, Worthington recorded a profit of $143.7 million on sales of $2.8 billion, up from fiscal 2015’s profit of $76.8m on sales of $2.24 billion.
