Xinjiang Bayi starts first oxygen blast furnace
Xinjiang Bayi Iron & Steel, part of Baowu, has started the first phase of industrial testing of its oxygen-fired blast furnace, Kallanish notes. It is the first pure oxygen-fired BF in China, with investment of CNY 158 million ($22.57m).
