Xugang commissions converter, billet caster
Jiangsu Xuzhou Iron & Steel Group (Xugang) has put one 120-tonne converter and one billet caster into operation, completing Xugang's third-phase expansion project.
The 120-t converter will produce 1.35 million tonnes/year of crude steel, Kallanish notes.
