Xugang Group installs converter
Xuzhou Iron & Steel Group (Xugang) has installed a 120-tonne converter this week, which was constructed by MCC 17 Company.
The 120-t converter is expected to reach 1.35 million tonnes/year of carbon steel capacity, Kallanish notes. It is reported to be part of Xugang's high-end special steel project.
