Xuzhou to cut steel companies on environmental pressures
Eastern China’s Xuzhou city aims to cut its local 18 steel plants to ten by the end of 2018, it says. It is mainly targeting those with backwards environmental protection technologies. The city also says that it expects to merge all the local mills merge into one united company within three years, Kallanish notes.
