Metinvest plants Zaporizhkoks, Zaporizhvognetriv partially resume production
Ukraine’s Zaporizhkoks, part of Metinvest, has decided to end its conservation regime and partially resume operations at the coal preparation and coke shops, Kallanish notes.
The plant is gradually bringing three coke oven batteries – Nos. 2, 5 and 6 – out of conservation mode and back to planned production parameters.
Blast furnace coke from Zaporizhkoks will be fed to Metinvest plants, in particular, to Zaporizhstal, the group says.
