Zaporizhkoks’ August coke output decreases, but rises on-year
Ukraine’s Zaporizhkoks plant, part of Metinvest, decreased production of blast furnace coke in August compared to the previous month, the company says. Output amounted to 72,400 tonnes, down by 1.1% on-month, but was up 2% on-year, Kallanish notes.
In January-August, Zaporizhkoks thus increased production of blast furnace coke to 572,300t, up by 22% on-year.
