Zaporizhstal’s steel, iron output rebounds in October

Ukrainian flat steel producer Zaporizhstal, partially owned by Metinvest, increased crude steel production in October compared with the previous month, the company says. It produced 251,700 tonnes of crude steel, up 2.1% month-on-month, Kallanish notes. Pig iron output increased by 3.8%, to 267,300t, while rolled steel production was up 3.3% to 208,600t. October production of pig iron was up year-on-year by 70.3%, steel by 2% and rolled products by 105%…
