Zenith commissions steel cord project
Eastern Chinese long steel producer Zenith Steel has begun operating its high-quality steel cord project in Huai'an, Jiangsu.
The whole project saw an investment of CNY 20.2 billion ($2.9 billion) and is expected to meet 1.3 million tonnes/year of steel cord capacity, as well as 200,000 t/y of steel bead wire capacity after completion, Kallanish notes.
