Zhongjin commissions new hot-rolled stainless capacity
Southern China’s Guangxi Zhongjin Metal Technology commissioned its new 1.2 million tonnes/year hot-rolled stainless steel coil and plate line on 12 June, according to a company release.
The company has already commissioned 500,000 t/y of nickel pig iron capacity, and is still constructing its annealing and pickling project and cold-rolled stainless steel mill, Kallanish notes.
