Zhongjin increases investment in stainless steel plant
Southwestern China’s Zhongjin Metals is constructing a 600,000 tonnes/year stainless steel processing line which it plans to commission in June 2017. The company used to produce only nickel pig iron but with stainless steel margins soaring, it began production of stainless steel in the second half of 2016, Kallanish notes.
