Zongheng steel relocation project to commission in August
The merger and relocation project of Hebei Zongheng Iron & Steel Group’s Fengnan Iron & Steel is scheduled to commission in August, according to local media Fengnan Today. The project merges five mid-sized private Tangshan steelmakers which will all move to a new site with a total investment of CNY 38.1 billion ($6.03 billion), including CNY 3.2 billion in environmental outlay, Kallanish notes.
