Agnico Eagle invests $17m in Canada Nickel
Agnico Eagle Mines has acquired a 12% equity stake in Canada Nickel Company for CAD 34.7 million ($17m) in a private placement of flow-through units, the companies said in separate statements.
The deal will see Agnico acquire 19.6m units of Canada Nickel for CAD 1.18 per unit, with each unit comprised of one common share of Canada Nickel and 0.35 of one flow-through common share purchase warrant. Alongside a 12% equity stake in the company on a non-diluted basis, …
