Albemarle starts construction of new lithium hydroxide plant in China

Jiangxi Albemarle, a wholly-owned subsidiary of US lithium producer Albemarle, announced on Friday it has started the construction of a 50,000 tonnes/year battery-grade lithium hydroxide project in China. The new lithium conversion facility will be built at an industry park in Fengyi County, Jiangxi Province.
