Brazilian refined copper exports drop in July
Brazilian refined copper exports decreased sequentially in July. Nevertheless, ore shipments were higher compared to June, Kallanish notes.
According to data from the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic), refined copper exports fell 37.8% m-o-m but were 16.6% higher y-o-y in July at 7,019 tonnes. Year-to-date, these shipments reached 49,596 t or a drop of 7.6% over the January-July period of last year.
