Brazil’s July nickel exports fall, ores increase
Brazilian refined nickel exports fell in July, both monthly and annually. Shipments of ore, however, moved up during the month, according to the country’s National Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic).
Data monitored by Kallanish shows that refined nickel exports were 55.2% lower m-o-m in July at 71,700 tonnes. This volume was also 45.6% less when compared to the 132,000 t shipped abroad in the same month in 2021.
