Bulgaria’s BEV sales fall, hybrid surges
The uptake of new passenger battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in Bulgaria declined 15.1% on-year in January, Kallanish reports.
Data from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) shows 135 new car registrations, corresponding to a 4.3% market penetration. The performance comes after a 119.3% jump in 2023, with 1,816 new BEVs sold in the country.
