Bulgaria’s EV sales increase significantly in 2023
The uptake of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in Bulgaria continued to lift new car registrations in 2023, Kallanish reports.
Data from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) show a total of 1,816 new BEVs were sold in the country last year, up by 119.3% on-year. In December alone, 156 registrations were reported, representing an annual increase of 39.3% and a 5% market share.
