Chinese brands hold a 70-80% BEV market share in Thailand
Chinese brands occupied about 70-80% of Thailand’s battery electric vehicle (BEV) market in 2023, according to China Central Television.
The top four EV sellers in Thailand are all Chinese brands, and eight of the top ten popular models are from Chinese brands, the national Chinese broadcaster reports. More Chinese EV brands will enter the Thai market in 2024, Kallanish understands.
