COPPER: Chile's December production rises on-month
Chile saw copper output rise sequentially in December 2021. Production volume, however, was down on-year, Kallanish notes.
The latest report by the Chilean copper commission Cochilco shows that copper output reached 497,200 tonnes in December. This is 3.1% more than in the previous month. Production, however, was down 3,200 t compared to the same period in 2020. December's volume was the highest of 2021.
