COPPER: Hudbay Minerals releases robust PEA on revised Copper World project
Hudbay Minerals is releasing what it calls a robust preliminary economic assessment (PEA) for its revised Copper World project in Arizona, Kallanish reports.
The two-step plan would combine the company’s Copper World and its now-blocked Rosemont copper projects. Phase 1 calls for a standalone operation on 4,500 acres of private lands and patented mining claims with a 16-year mine life. That would only require state and local approvals.
