COPPER: Kamoa-Kakula Phase 2 concentrator begins copper production
Canada-based Ivanhoe Mines says that the Kamoa-Kakula Phase 2 concentrator plant is officially producing copper concentrate, Kallanish reports.
The hot commissioning and initial production came about four months earlier than what had been planned at the complex in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
