COPPER: Kamoa-Kakula provides major financial boost to Ivanhoe Mines
Ontario-based Ivanhoe Mines reports that it recorded a profit of $48.2 million in fourth quarter 2021. That compares to a loss of $10.9m for Q4 2020.
Income from the Kamoa-Kakula copper joint venture in the Democratic Republic of the Congo of $105.7m and finance income of $103.9m were the principal contributors to the profit recorded in 4Q 2021, Kallanish reports.
