NICKEL, COPPER, COBALT: Glencore’s Q1 output in line with expectations
Glencore said on Thursday its overall production was broadly in line with expectations, with production guidance for key commodities remaining unchanged, Kallanish reports.
The trading and mining group reported a 3% year-on-year growth in Q1 copper output to 301,200 tonnes. The increase reflects productivity improvements and mine plan sequencing at its South American operations including Collahuasi, Antamina and Antapaccay, the company says.
