Didi, GAC Aion’s autonomous driving JV achieves business licence
Chinese mobility technology platform Didi Global announced its unit Didi Autonomous Driving’s robotaxi joint venture with automaker GAC Aion New Energy Automobile has obtained its business licence in China.
The JV named Guangzhou Andi will be equally owned by GAC Aion New Energy Automobile and Didi Autonomous Driving, Kallanish learns. It aims to launch its first commercial model featuring level 4 autonomous driving technology in 2025.
