DOE to provide $7 billion for up to 10 regional clean-hydrogen hubs
The US Department of Energy is accepting applications for a $7 billion programme to create up to 10 regional clean-hydrogen hubs across the United States, Kallanish reports.
The money for the so-called H2Hubs will come from President Joe Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, as the DOE also releases a draft national clean hydrogen strategy and roadmap and is seeking public feedback. The Inflation Reduction Act will provide additional funds for hydrogen.
