Gensol secures 70-MW BESS project in India
India’s Gensol Engineering said Monday it has won the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) auction for a standalone battery energy storage systems (BESS) project in the Indian state of Gujarat.
The company secured a capacity of 70 megawatts/140 megawatt-hours from the total 250 MW/500-MWh project from GUVNL, Kallanish learns from the company. Gensol expects the project to contribute INR 4.5 billion ($54.4 million) to its revenue throughout the contract. …
