India eyes South America, Africa for critical minerals supply
The Indian government is looking at South America and Africa to secure critical minerals through state-owned mining companies, according to the country’s mines secretary VL Kantha Rao.
Last week, Rao met with Codelco chairman Máximo Pacheco in Santiago, Chile to explore potential opportunities in upcoming lithium and copper blocks, alongside building collaboration in capacity building initiatives.
