HEVs account for 33% of Romania's new car market
Romanian new hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) sales increased 15% on-year in February, taking a 32.9% share of the new car market, according to data from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA).
Over 3,736 HEVs were registered last month, taking the cumulative sales volume this year to 7,951 units – up 20.4% y-o-y.
Battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales, meanwhile, only rose by 6.6% in February to 1,109 units and a market share of 9.8%.…
