Hexagon Purus to supply hydrogen storage system to Ford Trucks
Zero-emission mobility firm Hexagon Purus says it has secured a purchase order from Ford Trucks to supply a hydrogen fuel storage system, Kallanish reports.
Ford will use the system to develop its fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) F-MAX, a prototype heavy-duty truck. The F-MAX FCEV is Ford Trucks’ first fuel cell-powered vehicle and will be manufactured in Turkey, with European Ten-T corridor demonstrations planned for 2025.
