Spain’s utility Iberdrola plans to test in the UK an innovative electrolyser technology that could potentially make large-scale green hydrogen production cheaper, Kallanish reports.
The company said on Friday the GreeNH3 project has received a £6 million ($7.48m) grant from the UK government. The funding will support a test of the world’s first ultra-efficient high-pressure electrolyser.
