IGO achieves record sales revenue in September quarter
Australian miner IGO has achieved record sales revenue of AUD 285.2 million ($60.23m) from its nickel business in the September quarter following the first quarter’s contribution of AUD 83.4m from Forrestania, Kallanish notes.
The contribution of Forrestania more than offset 27% lower revenue at Nova, which was driven by lower realised nickel prices.
The group's total nickel production rose 50% on-quarter to 9,761 tonnes.
