Ineos receives funding to study green hydrogen project in Germany
UK-based chemicals manufacturer Ineos announced Thursday the receipt of state funding for the feasibility study of a green hydrogen project in Germany, Kallanish reports.
The so-called ChemCH2ange project was granted €770,000 ($801,379) funding by the government of North Rhine-Westphalia. The funds cover one-fourth of the costs to run the study to check whether a 100-megawatt electrolyser could be built at the Ineos site in Köln/Dormagen.
