Italian BEV sales gain momentum in October
After a slight decrease in September, Italian battery electric vehicle (BEV) new registrations jumped in October by 57.2% year-on-year to 5,761 units, Kallanish reports.
According to data from local automaker association Anfia, sales of new plug-in hybrids (PHEV) cars rose slightly by 2.4% to 5,780 units. Together, sales of the powertrains increased by 24% on-year to 11,541 units. Their combined market penetration slightly improved from 8% in October 2022 to 8.3% …
